Mudan Boutique
Project Information
Mudan Boutique started in November 2005 as a sophisticated Asian boutique specializing in fine Asian goods, primarily pearl and jade jewelry, at very affordable prices. Mudan Boutique partnered with RBP to design their logo and brand identity as well as build an ecommerce site to serve as their main distribution and promotion mechanism. RBP was very excited to take on this project as this would be our first “big” ecommerce site completed as Rockbeatspaper.
Keeping budget in mind, we chose an open-source ecommerce platform written with PHP & MySQL called Cubecart. After integrating our design into Cubecart and making several modifications to the backend functionality, we integrated the ecommerce side within our content management system to handle the dynamic content areas of the site. The result was a great looking and highly functional ecommerce site that is easily maintained by the staff of Mudan Boutique.
